January 2025 Newsletter

A long-shot of a suburban, two-way street. It is winter and the lawns are covered in snow and so are the bare tree branches and power lines. Houses, cars, and driveways line the road. It is overcast and gloomy.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has had a great start to 2025.  For me, 2024 was...rough--to say the least.  I'm hoping for a much more productive year, full of writing and published books. *fingers crossed*  We'll see.

As for writing process, I have approximately 105,000 words completed for Book 6 of the Gray Tower series, plus some preliminary editing done.  I promise you that it WILL be done this year, and I'd like to finish another book as well in a new series that is a planned spin-off of Maplecrest Falls.

A final note: I have shuttered my profile for the site formerly known as Twitter. I was unable to post there anymore as I could barely post cat pictures without some troll making awful comments.  Instead, I had already had a profile on the place everyone else moved to.  Find me there if you still want to follow me on a microblogging platform.  Otherwise, all my other social media is there, and you can post there. Just be advised, that I am not accepting private messages on my author Facebook page because of scammers.  This is why we can't have nice things.

I hope to have more news for you soon.  Hopefully, it's good news--like a release date or a cover reveal.  Stay tuned.
